We are a group of men enjoying good fellowship by participating in the Baltimore Beltway Senior Softball League.
Gray Team
Welcome to the other Carroll County Senior Softball team's site. When the roster became too large for the original Carroll County team, a second team was formed in 2008. The names chosen for the teams were BLUE and GRAY with a nod toward our Civil War heritage. Blue and Grayboth play in the A division of the Baltimore Beltway Senior Softball League. . The many spectators who attend the games regularly for both teams are a source of admiration from opponents.
GRAY had played teams in all three divisions of the BBSS in previous years.. GRAY won the C division and championship games in 2009 and moved up to the B division in 2010. In 2011 they remained competitive by placing second in the division and reaching the championship game in the playoffs. They won the B Division Championship in 2012 . In 2014 they placed second in the A division (Howard Red was 1) and capped off the season with a spectacular last day of the tournament, playing 3 games, defeating Howard Red and Carroll Blue (twice). Both teams play at the Carroll County Sports Complex off Littlestown Pike.
